About the Co FacilitatorsErin - is yoga-certified and a retired local public school administrator with an doctorate in organizational leadership. She has been has been practicing yoga for over 40 years. Erin has been on numerous local and international retreats and bring years of experience to the days she creates for you. In the summer of 2023, she studied under Jorge Luis Delgado, a Peruvian shaman known throughout the world for his guided spiritual journeys to the sacred sites, temples and power spots of Peru. Jorge also specializes in energy healing practices . Erin has an intense love for nature and has rebuild her home and yard to bring peace and tranquility to her guests. Erin's latest focus in on longevity and how the foods we eat affect our phyical and mental health. During her retreats she will share some of the latest research from the Stanford Center on Longevity. Erin lives on the property with her husband Frank (also a yoga practitioner). Michelle - Her love for intense physical & mental discipline originated over 30 years ago in the Martial Art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan, where her daily practice embraced mindfulness though intense mental focus & balance. She began teaching power yoga over 20 years ago and incorporates the philosophy of martial arts into her practice such as, the importance using the breath for power, focus & balance. She love blending vinyasa & hatha into a style of yoga she calls Power Flow & Balance, with much focus on alignment and emphasis on complete mind & body presence, while stressing the importance of awareness of one’s own physical limitations.
We are excited to incorporate sound baths by Susannah Demke @susied_lmt_attheredbarn. If experienced regularly, sound baths are used to reduce tension and stress, enhance creativity, induce a restful sleep, and improve your mood (among other things). The intent of our retreat is to introduce you to healthy options that you can use in your daily life.
